There are 13 steps in the spraying line, including pre-degreasing, main-degreasing, cleaning, washing, surface conditioning, vitrification, passivation, washing, drying, cooling, electrostatic spray, solidifying, cooling. The whole process will take 95 to 100min.
The whole spraying line is 400 meters long, with 260 meters pre-drying line, 60 meters phosphating line and 80 meters solidifying line. The long spraying line guarantees steel plate to be well pre-conditioned and free from impurity. Only this can let the chemical reaction occurs amply among powder so that it will not peel off from parts and maintain a good appearance. The spraying room is tailored by the leader of spraying facility manufacturing field in China. The Nano film filter in Whirlwind Mod2 recycling facility can filtrate fame powder at 0.1 μm, its single separating rate is up to 98%. No powder can flow into the air, which is good for workers’ health. This facility can also help save powder when spraying, which means a lot for small quantity and multiple colors order. There are 12 automatic spray guns and 2 manual spray guns in our most advanced SWISS GEMA SPRAYING LINE in the world, which can handle varies kinds of powder and parts with perfect spraying quality.Pre-Degreasing – The grease and dirt during producing process will affect powder coating, while the pre-degrease can remove 60% of them. Main-Degreasing – This process can remove the left impurity through 120 mins. After the first two steps, impurities can be wiped out by 99.5%. Cleaning – To remove the de-greasing agent. Washing – A complete washing treatment to reach the edge, corner and other area of each part.
Surface Conditioning – This treatment is a pre-step for phosphating, reaction will be on the surface between chemicals. Phosphating – When putting a part into particular acid liquid, an insoluble coating will be generated through chemical reaction, which is called phosphating coating. This process is to increase the adherence of powder because the phosphating coating can attract powder more closely and keep it free from corrosion. Passivation – The corrosion resistance of phosphating coating is limited for its thickness and pore. Some parts will turn yellow and rust during the period before next step. The passivating sealing treatment after phosphating can oxidate the exposed metal and generate oxide to fill the pore, making the phosphating coating more stable in the air. Washing – Wash away the chemicals from coating. Drying – Evaporate the left liquid in the stove for next spraying process. Cooling – Cool the parts down for spraying process. Electrostatic Spray – Powder in atomization form is going to carry negative charge in the DC high voltage electric field, then fly to parts surface that carrying positive charge under an electrostatic field. A uniform coating will be generated by deposition of powders. Solidifying – Solidifying stove can melt powder on the surface, then generate a smooth layer that can pass salt mist test. Cooling – Products is very hot when getting out of solidifying stove, we let the natural cooling to take the heat away.
